Definitions of:

• antigens: A structure or molecule that is foreign to our body. We named a few examples:
  • protein from another organism
  • virus
  • bacteria
  • pollen
• antibody: protein that binds antigens with high specificity
• macrophages: cells that recognize an antigen-antibody complex and "eats" it
• applications of antibodies:
  • cancer therapy
  • vaccination
  • diagnostics: detection of proteins
